In the first email a reputable University graduate David Harlow asked me if Rochville University fake. In the email he wrote:
“Don’t you think it’s unfair with people like us who spent a big chunk of their life in studying and taking exams and you guys just come in with some fake university degree and land good jobs? The email was enough to raise my blood pressure but I had to fight the hearsays calmly and patiently. So I wrote back to him:
“With due respect, I don’t agree with what you say. Yes it is a fact that unlike you, we spend lesser time to acquire degree but this is the beauty of online education system.
People who choose online education system can’t afford to spend time like you people. Some of my kith and kin are the sole bread winners and can never give up their jobs. But does that strip them off their right to further their education and become successful in their career lives?
As far as your second comment is concerned, I think you are under informed about Rochville University. Rochville is an authentic and accredited online university and have its students not just in the United States but in other parts of the world as well. Had it been a scam, how could it have so many graduates?
Before you call Rochville University scam you need to understand what scam is. Word scam is used for such online educational institutes which don’t disclose or deliver the item one has paid for. Rochville University does not just hand over degree to the student. There is proper evaluation method by virtue of which each case is thoroughly examined and analyzed. David Harlow later emailed me to apologize the way he looked at the entire matter. When he visited the Website of Rochville University, he realized that it is not like the way people interpret it.
The second email emphasized on one of the most important issues that is being faced by a lot of online education institutes these days pertaining to their physical presence. Written by a Lecturer from University of Tulsa from Oklahoma, the email went something like this:
“In my view, if you want to check the authenticity of online university, you must check its physical address. Unfortunately, Rochville University does not have any physical address. Either it does not have any physical address and only exist in the cyber space. Whatever the case may be, I have serious reservations about the being the spokesperson of your alma mater have to tell me where is Rochville University located?”
Frankly even I did not have any proper answer to this question. So I immediately called the customer support department to get the answer. They said that Rochville University address is not made available because they consider themselves a completely online entity that is not just catering us but students from other parts of the world as well that is why it has made phone number and email address available on its website. Besides if someone requires its email address can get it from us.
After I have understood the procedure and updated my knowledge, I emailed University of Tulsa lecturer and told him the reason why Rochville University location is not mentioned on the website.
For quite some time I kept receiving similar kinds of emails. The questions remained round about similar. For instance where is Rochville? In which part of the world is Rochville University located? Or where is Rochville University, I want to visit it? If there was something I could not reply about, I used to forward to Rochville University for a proper and convincing answer.
My efforts helped me in changing overall perspective about the credibility of Rochville University. I am convinced that Rochville is absolutely authentic. The bachelor’s degree that I have taken from Rochville University has been easily accepted by my current employer. With the same degree I have applied in other organizations as well and never faced any problems.
